  • Halotherapy is a wellness practice that involves breathing salty air. This practice dates back to the 1800s when Polish miners working in salt mines recognized the positive results on their skin and respiratory health. Halotherapy can take place in cool salt caves with a halo generator that grinds up salt and releases the particles into the air. When these particles are inhaled, the salt can absorb impurities from our bodies.

Halotherapy

  • White or Pink Himalayan backlit salt walls can replace a wall in any of our saunas. Inhaling salt particles is said to reduce inflammation and mucus in the lunges which could overall improve respiratory conditions.

Salt Walls

  • Perfect Wellness Group offers frigidariums which are large cold pools which can be used to cool off after a steam or sauna session. Frigidariums date back to ancient roman times. Ice fountains, which produce crushed ice, can be added to any Frigidarium as a body rub at the end of the session. When our bodies temperature changes from hot to cold so quickly, our systems are shocked. This can strengthen the immune system, improve blood circulation, regulate body temperature, brighten skin, and increase your metabolism.

  • Hammams are large steam rooms that date back to ancient times. Hamman, or Turkish bath, has been used by many different cultures to decrease stress and anxiety, increase blood circulation and decrease muscle pain. There is usually a belly stone located at the center of the space for any treatments during the session.

Hammams

  • Rasul or mud chamber is a heated room that combines steam, water and mud to cleanse the body and mind. The mud that is used is infused with minerals to exfoliate and detoxify the skin, allowing one to leave the experience feeling moisturized and firm.
Treatment Rooms

Rasul

  • The caldarium has traditionally been used in Roman bath houses as a very steamy plunge bath. This would be the hottest room in the space.

Caldarium

  • The laconicum is used as a very dry open space. Like a sauna, the humidity is very low. In a Laconicum the temperature only hits 125˚F where a sauna reached tempatures of 212 ˚F.
